Roads

I love the view out the back of the house, a sweeping panorama over a shallow valley. The waterfall flowing into the koi pond below is so soothing, and the perfect weather adds to the tranquility of the moment. A few miles away you can see the traffic of Interstate 80, and it looks especially neat at night to see the cars drive by. The scene reminds me of so many road trips and journeys I've taken through the years. It reminds me of my love for travel and adventure. There are many days I look forward to another journey, watching the world unfold before me as I travel the roads and skies. I have loved pushing toward the endless horizon, whether it be by the flat empty expanse of the open ocean or the tall mountains of the Rockies. The dense urban jungle and sparse pastures are like open books, each with their own stories to share, history to learn. My soul thrives with the excitement of discovery, finding new paths, meeting new people, experiencing the amazing world we live in. I can only hope to be back on the road again soon.
